Grievance

What is a Medicare Advantage Grievance?

A grievance is a complaint about how your Medicare Advantage health plan or Medicare Part D drug plan gives care. For example, a beneficiary may file a grievance if they have a problem calling the plan or if they’re unhappy with how a staff person has behaved. However, if a beneficiary has a complaint about a plan’s refusal to cover a service, supply, or prescription, they must file an appeal.
