Here's why. seniors looking for a plan that prioritizes customer service may be disapointed with Mutual of Omaha Rx Essential because the plan's customer service score is below average. This plan gets an excessive number of complaints from its members. Sadly, the overall member experience with this Mutual of Omaha plan is poor. As compared to other plans, Medicare says this plan does a poor job managing drug safety and the accuracy of drug pricing.
The true value of any Medicare Part D plan can only be judged by how well it covers your medications. The premiums for many enhanced benefit plans in are higher than this one. However, that does not necessarily mean they offer greater value. This plan does have an annual deductible, but one of the formulary tiers is excluded (see table above).
